The first step is to choose a platform on which to build your blog. There are many different platforms to choose from, but one of the most popular options is blogger.com.
Blogger is a free website that is owned by Google. It’s a very user-friendly platform, and it’s perfect for beginners who are just getting started with blogging. In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to create your own blog on blogger.
Theoretical Steps.
Go to Blogger and start the process of creating a blog on blogger by entering your email address, setting up a new Google account if necessary, and choosing a name for your blog. You’ll want to choose something short and memorable so it’s easy for people to remember later on down the road. Also, try not to use spaces in your blog name as it creates formatting issues when you post articles to your blog. Once these details have been confirmed, click Create Blog at the bottom right of the page.
The next step is to customize your settings for your blog – this is where you can tell Google how often you want to publish new posts, what your blog will be about, and other details. Click the Settings link at the top right of the page under your blog’s name – this takes you to the settings page for your blog.
At the top of this page, click Basic. This opens up all sorts of customization options that include changing your avatar (the image used to represent your account), customizing your email address (which comes in handy if you plan on using social media like Twitter or Facebook), adding a custom domain (if you already own one), linking an RSS feed (allows people to subscribe to updates on your site), enabling comments, and more! Once you’re satisfied with these settings, click Save at the top right.

The next step is to start building your blog by adding content. At the very top of this page – under your name and blog title – you’ll see the button Add a Post. To do this, click on Layout at the top of your screen – you’ll notice that there are two links – choose the one that says Template. This brings up all of the default templates for your blog. Choose a template by clicking on it and then publishing it on your blog!
Customization:
Another great way to customize the appearance of your blog is through color schemes. The first thing you have to do is go back to settings by clicking on Settings at the top right corner of your screen under your blog’s title. Once there, click Colors next to Basic. You can either choose from pre-made color schemes or create your own unique using RGB sliders with numerical values. Once you’re finished, publish your changes by clicking Save at the top right of the page.
The last thing you might want to do is add a custom header to your blog. To do this, go back to Settings and then click on Header. You can either use a pre-made header or upload your own by clicking on the Choose File button. After you’ve chosen the header you want to use, publish your changes by clicking Save at the top right of the page.

The other method is to open the XML file in your theme folder through notepad or text and then copy all the HTML texts and paste them in the edit HTML which is shown in the above picture.

Now it’s time to update the logo and favicon. Bloggers have a default favicon you can also use it.
But for the professional look, I will choose our logo made in Canva. You can create a logo and favicon on Canva.
In layout click on the header edit icon.
Upload your site logo from your computer and click on save.
